This First ISME-Africa Symposium and Bioinformatics Training workshop is aimed to give an update on current research on microbial ecology during a two-days symposium, and provide during a three-days workshop, a comprehensive understanding of theoretical and practical knowledge on microbial genomics and metagenomics using bioinformatics

For the Workshop

1. Requirements for application

• Master and PhD students, Postdoc working in Microbial Ecology and related fields
• Good level in English (Listening)

2. How to apply ?

Send your CV (2 pages max) and a Motivation letter to the two Ambassadors by e-mail

3. Selection process

• Selection of 30 candidates based on their applications
• Selected candidates will participate both to the Symposium & Workshop

For the Symposium

• Simply, send a request to the two ambassadors by e-mail
• In person attendees restricted to 50 places

Participation fees

1. Fees for the symposium and workshop

• student with Scholarship : free
• student without scholarship: 75,000 francs CFA (115 EUROS)
• Teacher-researcher: 150 000 francs CFA (230 EUROS)

2. Fees for the symposium only

• Participation in the symposium online: 30 000 francs CFA (46 EUROS)
• Participation in the symposium offline: 30 000 francs CFA (46 EUROS)

3. Scholarship possibility for students

• 15 places available for Côte d'Ivoire students (105 000 FCFA / Applicant)
• 5 places available for foreign students (325 000 FCFA (497 EUROS) / Applicant) Candidates will be selected by ISME based on CV excellence
